Totes & Satchels

Our totes are hand woven using locally grown sisal that are raised on huge plantations running from between Nairobi south to Mombassa. The Kamba Tribe live about an hour and a half to the south of Nairobi in Machakos and make a good deal of all sisal totes and baskets. The Kikuyu Tribe around Thika on the road to Nyeri and the Kikuyu women of Limuru who live in the lush highland farms not far from Nairobi, make beautiful totes as well. Perfect for all reasons and all seasons, our totes are sturdy and can carry everything from swimsuits and snorkels to a picnic lunch.
